MARDİN - 8 out of the 9 people detained within the scope of the Mardin-based operation were released as one of them was arrested.
As part of an investigation launched by the Mardin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office 10 people were detained in the house raids in various cities on July 1. One of them was Aynur Koaç who was detained on charges of "membership of an organization" in her house in the Cizre district of Şırnak province on Thursday and sent on July 10 to Şırnak Type T Prison with her 10-month-old baby.
Following the procedures in the police station those 9 people who were detained within the scope of the same operation, 9 people have been brought to the Mardin Courthouse and referred to the Magistrates' Criminal Court over demand for arrest. The court has ruled the release of 8 people while one of them has been arrested on the grounds of "being a member of an (illegal) organization".
