ANKARA -  Speaking about the attack against Kurdish workers in Sakarya, HDP Deputy Chairperson Şaziye Köse stated that they will be following the case closely and discuss the judicial process with the workers. 

 

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) made a statement at the party's headquarters regarding the racist attack against Kurdish workers in Sakarya. HDP Labor Commission Co-Chairperson Şaziye Köse and commission members attended the press release.

 

Speaking at the press release, Köse said: "Thanks to the poisonous discourse and policies of the AKP-MHP alliance, the culture of lynch has been sky rocketing.There have been so many attacks against the seasonal workers that we don't have the time to list them one by one. Kurdish workers and refugees are in constant danger. Especially the women."

 

Stating that the attack is the result of a deliberate policy, Köse said: "As the HDP we will continue to grow the hope of people living together despite the polarization created by the AKP. We will be following this case closely. We condemn the racist attack once more. We are expecting the investigation to be launched as soon as possible. The workers have arrived at their village today. We will discuss with them about the upcoming judicial process."
