CHP MPs visited the sit in staged by Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co- Chairs Perivn Buldan and Mithar Sancar, protesting the detention of the politicians with the HDP within the scope of the 'KObané investigation'.
Republican People's Party (CHP) MPs Sezgin Tanrıkulu, Levent Gök and Utku Çakırözer visited the sit in. HDP Co-Chairperson Mithat Sancar informed the CHP delegation about the situation of the detained politicians.
CHP Ankara Deputy Levent Gök stated that all political parties are indispensable elements of democracy in his short speech during his visit and said: "We always prefer the environment where everyone who are engaged in politics in a legitimate sense can express their opinions freely under the roof of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. It is important for the development of democracy in our country to protect the rights of mayors elected by the votes of the people, the rights of the elected and the law. Behavior that does not comply with this will harm our democracy. We hope and wish that these mistakes will be reversed ”.
