URFA - Pointing out to the law suit filed against their relatives, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "Our demand is that the AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız who instigated the massacre against our family in the hospital to be prosecuted."

 

The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 673. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Mother Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar came to the courthouse and staged the sit-in.

 

THE DEMAND OF THE FAMILY

 

Stating that they continue the sit-in despite the health issues of his mother, Şenyaşar said: "Unlawfulness and injustice continues. We have hung a banner at the enterance of the courthouse. You see an ambulance that is damaged by cobblestones. The people who did that have not yet stood trial before the judiciary. The person who organised and instigated this massacre is a member of the parliament from the AKP group. If he wasn't at the hospital at the time, no one would have dared carry out this attack. Even though the main perpetrator is an MP, he is not mentioned in the indictment."

 

Calling for participation at the hearing for the attack against their relatives to be held on January 17, Şenyaşar said: "Our main demand is that the the AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız who instigated the massacre against our family in the hospital to be prosecuted. This is what we'll demand. The hospital surveillence records are in the archives of the government. They will come to surface when he is no longer a member of the parliament. We will wait. We will not sit at home. We will continue our rightful struggle and resist."
