HDP, which determines the fate of the İBB (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality) elections, has completed its congresses in many districts of Istanbul. HDP Provincial Co-Chair Erdal Avcı pointed out that despite all the pressures, the party is embraced strongly by the people in the congresses and said: “Our congresses strengthen us.”
Giving a speech at the Cizre congress of his party, HDP Co-chair Sezai Temelli said that the Kurdish people will not live without a recognized status for another century and continued: "If you want to solve whatsoever problem in this country, you should first solve the Kurdish problem."
As HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan shared her condolences for the deceased citizens due to the Elazığ earthquake, she states that AKP Chair Tayyip Erdoğan shows off on the wreck site: “Everybody saw that they reduced themselves as to gather politics out of wrecks. He restrained the aids to reach the public. This is the point where words fail.”

HDP members Alaattin Semir Zuğurli and Sedat Ay and DBP Mardin Provincial co-chairs Şehmus Sun and Leyla Bozkurt were arrested in Mardin. The co-mayors of Nusaybin and Bismil were released.
HDP Honorary President Ertuğrul Kürkçü, who states that the existing constitution is a contra constitution, said: “The HDP should seek the way to carry the discussion of the new constitution to the masses of people who are the actual forces of the Democratic Republic struggle."
HDP Co-chair Sezai Temelli said: " The people of Turkiye started to talk about peace and democracy with a greatest sincerity after the absolute isolation ended. That's why we say, speak to Öcalan. Don't silence him."
HDP Co-Chairs Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli said in a statement regarding the letter of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan: "The statement of Mr. Öcalan and the politics of HDP so far coincide with each other and there is no change in the tactical steps."
HDP Co-Chair Sezai Temelli evaluated the election results and said that Erdogan should withdraw to the presidency.
